We are looking for sponsors to help us provide light snacks and beverages for this event. This can be in the form of products or financial support.
If you are a food or beverage business and would like to donate products or a business who would like to sponsor the refreshments, please let us know.
Speed Networking Event
From 3pm - 4pm we will be hosting a Speed Networking Event. Participants will be placed at group tables and prompted with questions to help us get to know each other and then rotated so everyone gets a chance to meet.
If you would like to participate, please arrive by 2:45pm to get signed up.
Raffle
Items will be donated by local sustainable vendors and we will have a drawing at 4:00pm. All attendees will receive one raffle ticket upon arrival and can purchase more with all proceeds benefiting Sustainability is Sexy.

San Diego EarthFest is a FREE Earth Day celebration presented by Vegan Food Popup. Featuring over 100 eco-friendly food, product and service vendors as well as environmental, conservation and animal rescue groups.

Green Friday
We are so excited to bring back GREEN FRIDAY with @purebalboapark on Friday, November 24th!
The increased consumerism associated with traditional Black Friday shopping and sales contributes to an immense amount of waste. Packaging, delivery/transport from online shopping, and overbuying unwanted and unnecessary items due to sales and deals all create increased emissions and trash.
We created GREEN FRIDAY to provide an alternative to Black Friday -- join us to support local, sustainable vendors this holiday season and spend time together with the community.

The Bountiful Bag 5th Annual Earth Month Fundraiser

Pumpkin Collection
Don’t throw away your festive pumpkins and gourds this year - Sustainability is Sexy is collecting your un-carved pumpkins for the month of November and will donate them to local animal sanctuaries for the animals to enjoy. Drop off your intact and unpainted pumpkins at one of our collection locations before December 1st and help us fight unnecessary waste.
Pumpkin donations must be clean of paint, wax and un-carved — these are being donated to animals for eating.

Sustainable Vendor Fair
SIS is so excited to partner with Helia Brewing in Vista to bring your our first Sustainable Vendor Fair! There will be music, food, amazing local goods and 🍻 -- so join us on Sunday, June 27th from 1pm - 5pm. There will be an on-site raffle with proceeds donated to Sustainability is Sexy — come out and support! Check our Instagram for vendor spotlights and more information.

The second Thursday of every month we invite current and interested SIS members to join us for an open discussion about sustainability in our community. Each month will have a theme and a short presentation from a sustainable speaker.

Time for Action: Single Use Plastic (March)
Sustainability is Sexy is proud to host our monthly campaign of emails to help reduce single-use plastic. Whether you are new to the zero-waste lifestyle or a seasoned pro, we all have products we buy that are still packaged in single-use plastic. We will discuss ideas for alternatives and provide a 'love' letter (email) template for you to send off to your favorite brands, encouraging them to ditch throw-away and excessive packaging altogether.

A "Green" St. Paddy's Day: Sustainable Cocktails with The Beverage Botanist
Brianna, The Beverage Botanist, will have an open forum about the beverage industry's impact on this planet, ways to consume sustainably and provide a cocktail/mocktail workshop! Learn how to make your St. Patrick's day 'green' for the planet. This event will be via Zoom and attendees will receive the beverage recipe and ingredient list in advance. Register here.
